Projects

We offer students a chance to collaborate with their peers on whatever social, environmental or community issues that interests them. It’s a chance to build friendships, interpersonal skills, and to have fun in a constructive way. Our members also help each other in overcoming obstacles, which encourages problem solving as a team. Our projects are very large in scope and require a team with diverse skill sets. We are encouraging young students to explore their strengths, whether it is in arts, design, computers, oral presentation, writing or creative thinking. It is our belief that each person has something unique and important to offer. View our brochure (PDF file).

1. Water for Water
     Our Annual Summer Project

At Interact we believe in building better communities. This includes clean water and proper sanitation for all. That's why this past summer, we held a giant water gun fight in support of WaterCan, a leading Canadian water charity dedicated to fighting global poverty.

We intend to make this an annual charity event, and we donate all funds towards WaterCan. The event is called Water for Water, London’s Greatest Water Fight. It is an annual water gun fight, where participants from across London come together for a day of wet water fun, all in the name of charity.

We are planning different possible charitable events through out the year and we are interested in planning a clothes drive to donate to our community.

3. High School Art Expo 2011

Art for Action, Art for Change, Art for Aids

Our club is currently planning a London wide high school art show to showcase the work of local high school students, and to support the fight against AIDS in Africa. All of the funds raised will go toward Art for AIDS International. Art for AIDS is a London based non-profit organization recognized for their efforts against the AIDS epidemic in Africa.
